Dr. Greta McLaren, is a board-certified physician and a leader in cosmetic and anti-aging medicine. She earned her medical degree at the prestigious University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she later founded the school’s first cosmetic anti-aging clinic and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

In 2005, she opened her first private practice in Colorado, later expanding to Cape Coral, Florida, in 2019. Renowned for combining medical expertise with an artistic eye, she draws inspiration from art to enhance her patients’ natural beauty using advanced techniques such as liposculpting and facial rejuvenation.

Her approach blends science with artistry, guided by the belief that the best results are so natural “only your doctor would know for sure.” Today, Dr. McLaren remains dedicated to advancing anti-aging medicine and bioidentical hormones while helping her patients look and feel their best—confident, refreshed, and authentically themselves.

Licensed Aesthetician / Office Coordinator / Social Media Marketing Director / Office Manager

Clar is the Office Manager here at Skin Secrets. You’ll often find her at the front desk of Skin Secrets, welcoming patients, coordinating office events, and keeping Dr. McLaren’s social media up to date.

One of Clar’s biggest passions is helping individuals who struggle with their weight. She has been running the weight loss clinic alongside Dr. Greta McLaren at Skin Secrets since August 2023. She finds it extremely rewarding to transform patients’ lives and make them more comfortable in their skin!

When Clar is not brightening her clients’ days, she enjoys attending yoga class, traveling with her husband, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her genuine enthusiasm for helping others makes her a beacon of hope for those seeking a path towards healthier life.

Janet Rodriguez

Assistant to Dr. McLaren

Janet Rodriguez brings 30 years of experience in the cosmetic, aesthetic, and plastic surgery field. Her journey began in the early 1990s, inspired by a deep passion for skincare, health, and patient care. She earned her medical aesthetics license in 2014 and has since cultivated a wide range of clinical skills in both aesthetic and medical environments.

As the assistant to Dr. McLaren, Janet plays an integral role in supporting both operating room procedures and advanced aesthetic treatments. She is highly skilled in a variety of state-of-the-art technologies, including CO₂, Helix, Fractional, BBL, IPL, and Morpheus8 lasers. Her technical expertise, combined with her warm and professional approach, ensures that patients feel confident, safe, and well-cared for at every stage of their treatment.

Janet’s advanced knowledge of skincare product formulations allows her to effectively guide patients through corrective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. She is passionate about skin health and excels in helping patients achieve long-term results through personalized product education and ongoing support.

In addition to her work in aesthetics, Janet also assists with hormone therapy consultations and other medical procedures designed to improve overall health and well-being. Her multifaceted role allows her to support patients both cosmetically and holistically, reinforcing her commitment to comprehensive care.

Currently enrolled in nursing school, Janet continues to expand her ability to serve patients with compassion and clinical excellence.

Wendy comes to Skin Secrets with over eight years of experience in aesthetics and plastic surgery in administrative positions. She loves all aspects of patient care and customer service always going above and beyond to make patients feel at ease.

Wendy is a new resident of Florida. She loves the beach, where she feels the most at peace. Deeming Florida was the perfect place for her to call home. She has one grown daughter and one grandchild who live in Texas, where she is from.

She looks forward to being a part of all our patients’ positive experiences here at Skin Secrets.
